What do we think of the bangage? (My hair, not the sex, you dirty mind-in-the-gutter dwellers.) I’m thinking it totes hides my tube, plus makes me look hot! I'm havin’ a good hair day, which is always a fun little self-esteem booster, and is super rare in these parts, seeing as I’m Lazy Miss Pony-Tail Rawr. Getting ready is totally overrated.
This weekend I will be frolicking in Bear Lake with husband and Twinner and a couple old friends from hike school (
Billy Madison, anyone?) with their spouses. With a rock climbing wall and a movie theater in the cabin, how can it not be fun? Oh wait it can totaaaalllllly
not be fun when one has a grumpy three year old to tote around. LUCKILY FOR US, my mom is masochistic, and therefore has volunteered to watch the man-child so that we have a fun weekend. So I’m excited, even though numerous people I don’t see super often will take ganders at my tube. Sigh. Such is life. I shall persevere!
Anyway, have fun at home, bitches! (Or losers. Or suckas. Take your pick!)
P to the S: I recently found
this article online about my foray into the morning show life about pregorexia (boo hiss groan hate that term). I think it was written awhile ago, but it’s quite interesting. You can also go back to a post I wrote in regards to it -->
here<-- to refresh. So. Read. Peruse. Mull. Let me know what you think.

Loveeeeeeeee ze bangage! And I agree, having a good hair is a MEGA esteem booster for me!
I am diggin the bangage, oh and your hair too. Hehe!! I am the no-get-ready master and you know this so if my hair ever happens to be down I do enjoy and appreciate it's loveliness. Have fun this weekend, don't let the rockwall get the best of you! :)
Yay for bangs! I've had them for awhile, and they totally make even the messiest hairdo look pulled together.
And what tube? I don't see any tube; I must have been distracted by the great hair.
Have fun! Some of us are stuck inside doing mountains of work. I shall think of you and be jealous.

I'm diggin' the bangs! Hope you have fun on your getaway!
Beautiful! I love em! I actually just chopped some of my own last week.It is amazing what a difference it can make. I am sure that the gal that does my hair will be not be thrilled when she finds out and will have to fix them. :) Have a good weekend!
I have never managed to make it up to Bear Lake, but I hear its amazing! So jealous! Have a fabulous time dearie!
I agree, that term sucks. However, it written well about the dangers + fears of the disease. Ugh.
love the bangs... the article. eeh. They messed up numbers and stuff like in the show (mainly about how much you ate) You are awesome and you rock and you are strong.
I hope you and Big B have some good ole adult fun this weekend. :o)
I love the bangs and I am still open to a hair trade, my Curly for your Shiny Smooth.
Pleeeaaase let me know if you see any cool critters during your lake excursion!
And HAVE FUN, you deserve a play weekend!
bangs are so beautiful, they never worked on my unruly curly hair but i still love them and am seriously jealous of people with them
stacy, yeah. they DEFINITELY got some facts wrong in the article. but i guess that's the media 'fer ya, right?
Love the bangs :) You're gorgeous. And yes, you will be just as beautiful once you put on some weight. I was grotesquely overweight my whole life, then I got married and within a year and a half had put on 15 pounds. I missed my size 0 jeans, but my husband loves not getting jabbed with a hip bone. I always said that I wanted to gain weight, but once I did... I wasn't happy with it. To be honest, I STILL worry about that extra flab on my thighs, but I know that I'm still gorgeous, and you will be, too. I think that was more for yesterday's post, but I'm awesome and left it here :)
I'm a sucka. The bangs are kick ass, as I do rock them too. My reason is my square hairline. uck.
Have fuunnn!
llove the bangs! I just colored my hair brown!!
the hair rocks the casbah! enjoy your weekend away. :)
ok, just finished reading your post on the tv show stuff.
random thoughts:
1. the driving in NYC is nothing compared to here.
2. i once had a huge body builder dude (total stranger) sit next to me on a flight from alaska to washington dc. he totally encroached on my space, so i felt free to use him as a man-pillow like the whole time. he did not complain. and i'm hoping i did not drool on him.
lastly,
3. i do not think i have ever watched the M&J show. but wow, that seems like an awful lot of facts for them to get wrong.
Love the bangs!!! You had them before & they looked awesome then too!!
Pregorexia is a scary issue that my husband & I discuss. He reminds me that when we do have a child I will have to gain MORE weight, temporarily. I know it's going to be really hard.
Stay focused on your recovery & think about the sexy healthy body your building.
Have fun. Relax! Plus..your pair does look beautiful....
Bangin' bangs are bangin' :D
Did you really cut your bangs? Well whatever, your hair looks hawt!
hi bananas, no actually i didn't cut my bangs - just swooped them to the other side to cover el tubo.
i am having a loverly time in bear lake! taking fun pics...
Yeah the bangs are cute, but how long do have to have the tube in? I'm asking because I've never had to have one, or know anyone with one in so I don't know much about it. I hope it's not personal I'm just courious.
david, i don't know how long for sure i'll have to have the tube. probably 2-3 months, if everything goes smoothly, and if weight is easy to restore - sometimes my body is surprisingly resistant. but, if all goes well, hopefully not a ridculously long time or anything.
Ok, well I'm sending you good vibes that your bod will be healthy soon. And remember that is not a code word for fat. I'm sorry you have to have the tube but very happy that it's there and helping you stay in live's of those that you love.
i am home i am home i am home! pictures to cooooome!
