I walked in the door from work.
"Mommy's home!" Daddy yelled.
"Mommy's home!" Cade echoed.
"Mommy, guess what? I went POOP IN THE POTTY and I didn't want Daddy flush it cuz I wanna show you."
I looked. Oh wow.
His joy was priceless.
He pooped. He flushed. He conquered.
Um. PROUDEST.MOTHER.EVER.

Those are the best days ever, when it finally clicks in their little heads and they do it all by themselves. How precious is that that he saved it for you, too?

when Emma was potty training I taught her how to say "pinch a loaf". When my husband got home from work she ran up to him all excited and said "daddy I pinched a loaf I pinched a loaf" and I just laughed and laughed!
I know I'm gonna burn for that...
LOL Way to go Cade!
Woohoo for potty training success!!! Weston wanted to save his first one in the potty too. Gross, but so exciting.

Brie,
Im just reading your blog now...I was a regular reader, and then I stopped for a while, I was reading another site related to ED recovery.Anyway I got tired of that site pretty quick, lots of moaning and negative talk. and today I decided to have a look at yours again...and can I just say YOU ARE AN INSPIRATION, whatever at the moment you are fighting to gain the weight and eat right, but your posts are just SO uplifting!!SO POSITIVE, even in the down times your posts are heroic, and I cannot thank you enough for them!
I wanted to suggest another reason to recover to your "bearing all and being alive" post, Brie I have never met you before, and have been reading your blog for about a year, and honestly I would truly truly miss it if you could no longer post!
So brie keeping fighting that ED. im sure youve been told already BUT YOU ARE WORTH IT!!!
: )
wow, sona, thanks so much for your words. i am so happy that my blog is found more as an ispiration than as a "thinspiration" sight.
gross.
anyway, you rock. thanks for the warm fuzzies this morning. :)
So very cute! Any advice I am begging to have my little one do that. I am really out of options on what I can do to get him to go poop in the potty! HELP!
