Finally Some Photos

I found my camera charger. That makes me almost as happy as pink things and dirty jokes, no kidding. So, for your viewing enjoyment, here are a few I snapped today:

Lil C and his ohsomuchBETTER haircut. He no longer looks like Ellen, an 87 year old, OR an inbred freak.

LOVE THIS PIC LOVEITLOVEITLOVEIT. He tried this hat on at the store today and kept asking, "Mommy BUY IT!" Too bad Hot Stuff. If it had been in boy colors I'd have gone for it...
C got to be the first to use the bathtub in the new pad. Daddy's above him fixing the shower head. Isn't my shower curtain smokin'? (For LAME NEWS regarding the bathtub sitch, read on to the last pic...

These beauts are the curtains I made for the living room. The light made it difficult to take a good pic, and you can see Bobbi's large and in charge butt in the pic, as well as Hairy, who we all know is the most magnificent creature on the planet. You likey?

Here's a close up pic of two of the panels. I made four total because the window was so big.

WANNA KNOW WHY I'M SO FRUSTRATED? The plumber didn't hook up the shower drain to the pipes, so when we washed out the bathtub and ran C's bath, then drained it, ALL THE WATER exploded down into our basement. Sweet. So typical. A flooded basement, fantastic. The World hates me again. We seem to have cleaned it up for the most part though, but it was totally sucktastic. Frigtarded. Such a BJ!!

That SUPER SUCKS about your basement - what else could possibly go wrong??? I LOVE the shower curtain and I LOVE the curtains - you are so talented (and have such good taste). By the way, thank you so much for commenting on my blog, I really value your input. :)

You are a sewing goddess - I bow down to you! Can't wait to see the house! Sorry about the basement though :( At least you have a toilet though, right, right? Love you sugar tits!

PS - Cade's hair is officially awesome and too bad that cute hat wasn't in boy colors.

Brie, the pic with the cats in the window is priceless as is Cade mugging for the camera. He ought to be a Gap Baby. However, you and Bran mugging is the best. Glad the flood did not destroy the great progress that is being made. Everything looks so good and that proves you are a "house Planner"!

Way cute curtains. I am gunna need some for my house. My favorite is the last picture with the G's. Mostly because I have so many pics of me and Dustin like that and I am always like crap I can't post that one, but I never really thought of cropping them to just our heads till now.

YAY!!! for pictures.

And BOO!!! for bad plumbing mistakes. What the heck. How are they going to fix that one anyhow? I mean do they need to rip out walls again? Cause if thats the case that really sucks.

Love your curtains, and love you! Looks like your house is coming together really nice. What's up with the tub drainage?! That's just weird.

I can't wait to visit again and see the finished product since I pretty much saw it at its worst!

Oh, but don't think I didn't see all that snow outside your ginormous living room window!! No way in hell I'm going to be visiting in that!!

I Looooooove your curtains! You did an amazingly great job for an amateur sewer!!! Can you come teach me...I have no curtains and I have 12 windows in my house. Seriously, I'd love it to look more "homey." And that totally sucks about your bathtub....when it rains it really pours, hah? Hey, can you take us on a "picture tour" of your new house for those of us who live far away? What does the front look like? Oh, and do those random animals still sneak over?

Brie, you and Cade were in my dream last night. In the dream, you made Cade sleep with a football instead of a teddy bear to make him more manly. Ha ha.

Congrats on moving to a new place, it looks great! Amazing job on the curtains, seriously. I love C's haircut, too.

Dear Brie,

Such cute curtains. Such a cute child.

And, thought the snow might be a pain, it makes your neighborhood look so sweet. Not at all a past haven for methamphetamine users!

With care....

kara, your dream made me laugh! Bran and I were just talking about how we needed to play around with a ball with C more so he wouldn't throw like a wussy - so maybe you do have a good idea, after all!

ania, your comment made me crack up too - so true that our house is indeed a meth house turned magnificent. as soon as it's finished, i'm totally giving you all a photo tour!

xo lovers!

oh and jb, YOU SHOULD COME IN THE SNOW. you need fun new experiences, even if they could potentially give you frostbite. it would be *so fun* to go sleeding! think about it! ;)

Love the home-maker I've found in you. Never would have see it comin' Way to go! I especially love the shot of the full window with your two big ol' cats. If you enlarge the picture you can see your neighbor out salting his driveway. Maybe he'll do yours if you flash him every now and then!

Brookie my sister love, you are so right. Flashing could be a great way to get little favors down around the yard. Does that count as whoring myself? Note to self: look into this.

To Brie: From Mom: Flashing is not a great way to get favors from neighbor. Cookies on a platter, much better:

Okay, so we should definitely compare pictures of whose "meth" house looks more "methy." I must say mine very well might win......hee, hee. We also have kids who come shoot at our cars and houses at night with bee-bee guns....they cracked open all of Jennifer's car windows and dented her car frame. I'm so glad I have the back room.......so if a random bullet flies through her window it'll hit her, not me. Oh, I'm so mean, aren't I? I'm sending you a picture of my meth house via e-mail, okay? I love what you've done to yours, however. It looks great. Can you come do mine? I'll pay your ticket with the money the dang IRS owes me...that is, if they ever get their butt's in gear and mail me my check!

Love ya dear,
Heth

Do not forget that I grew up with snow, since I grew up in the great old Midwest. And I broke my leg sledding when I was 13. Not that I wouldn't go sledding again, but it would have to be a legit sledding place! (Because sledding in a ravine is not a good idea, I learned.)
