Update to Previous Post

Good news! Husband was able to bring Mini Man home. They were able to get his oxygen up to a 93, so unless it goes below 90 this evening, he can stay at home. After steroids and Neb treatments, his lungs opened up. Pediatrician thinks it might be his chest/lungs having become weakened from the RSV - he said that when he gets something as small as even a simple cold, it could travel quickly to his chest and cause these problems. I unfortunately understand this, because the same thing happens to me nearly every time I get a cold as well, only the complication in my case turns to severe asthma.

But I just got off the phone with Husband, and Cade is begging to go "buh-bye" from the doc's office and have a "baff," (translation: bath) so I'm so relieved that he is well enough to not only go home, but interact and talk with us. These are all good signs!

Yay for Wee One staying out of the hospital! :D

Yahoo! I read your other one first, so this is such good news! But I'll still say a prayer tonight for Cade that his oxygen stays good and high!

Very YAY!! I am so glad that your little man didn't need to go back to that place. I hate hospitals so I can only imagine that he really has no desire to be in them either. I was so worried after reading your other post. I am so glad to hear that he is better. I hope that your back starts to feel better soon. I pull muscles and stuff from coughing, as does my roommate since we have asthma as well. Hers is the worse kind...suddenly striking and reacting heavily...she gets ill for weeks at a time, mine is lucky and gradual but when it gets bad it gets bad. What I am trying to say is that I understand the whole no air thing. It sucks. Hugs. Take care....and feel better...both you and your little Cade man.
