How does this grab ya?

I don't have a tube joke. Just wanted to let you know that you don't look bad at all with the tube. :) How are you doing with all of this?

No joke from me either. But how are you doing?

Brave girl. I think you could rock the runway with the look. you are hot enough for anything... nothing will change that :-)

lame joke... I wonder if it would better if they gave you Wendy's frosties instead of boost. I bet your tummy would like it better :-)

I bet cade tries to play with it.

let us know how you are feeling... I am sure I am not the only one who has been checking your blog frequently to see how you are doing... really.

Why did the tube cross the road? I don't know, that's the best I can come up with. I've been checking your blog too. How are you holding up? for reals?

I appreciate all of your texts and emails on my behalf. So, to answer your question, I'm okay. I'm not good by any stretch of the imagination, but I could be worse, I suspect. I honestly just don't feel much like going in depth...YET. I think I just need time to think about it and get used to this whole thing. I have two weeks off work, so once I get back into "blogging mode," I'm sure I'll come up with more of an update. I'm just too depressed to do it now. I'm in a lot of pain and am just in general really pissy. I already am scheming to take it out. I'll drink all the damn Boost they want me to, seriously. So we'll see.

Thanks for letting us know how you are doing... I was getting worried. I hope you feel better really soon!

Well sometimes we need a little kick in the ass to get us to do what we need to do. If the tube sucks so much that you can actually consume enough sans tube, that's awesome. But, is it physically possible?

I can't imagine this is comfortable. Hang in there.

Oh, Brie, that can't be comfortable. However, you still manage to look amazing. I am trying to come up with a joke fer ya!

You look sad and scared in that picture. :(

Emily to the Eardly, I'd love to hang out with you sometime. I could use some distraction from my tubalicious self. Call or text, or perhaps I will. :)

And Emily...Minnesota Emily...I do feel sad and scared. :( I'm in a lot of pain and am more anxious than I've been in a long time because of all the calories going into me...as soon as I get another prescription of Xanax (hopefully tomorrow) that should help.

As far as jokes go...I've come up with a few good ones involoving snot and spaghetti noodles. :)

Jana - you are a rockstar for sending me the card you sent - it brought tears to my eyes, and I loved the quote. Thanks for being such a great friend. You, too, Em - the snail mail was much appreciated and put a smile to my face. Taking time to think of me is really what's getting me through all of this, so thank you everyone! :)

well...one way I found to deal with it was to name the damn thing...mine got the lovely name of bob...course the name is more for the pole and the feeding. I tell people I am cheating on Bob when I eat real food...that at least lets me have a giggle.

I know that I've said this a ton the last 48 hours, but I freaking love you! I can't wait to hang out with your tubified face this weekend! You really are so strong and I look up to you so much....

Love Always,

Your BFF Whit

Even with the tube, darlin', you're gorgeous. Seriously. You could turn anything into the latest "fad"....I know this is depresing for you, but really, take the time you need to reflect on your life, past, present, AND future, and I'm sure you'll see how important this step is that you made. Just don't hang yourself with it! Ha, ha. :)

Love ya,
Heth

I was wondering why you hadn't replied to my email...Im sorry you are not ready to talk about it...but I am here.
When can I come over and let the boys play and we can just chill?
I love you. You look beautiful even with a tube in your nose.

You are so welcome for the card!! It made me happy to make it for you!

By the way, may I just say that your hair in this picture rocks? How do I make my hair so uber shiny and nice?

Hope you're doing OK. You've been in my thoughts a lot!

You are SO welcome for the letter. I'm glad it made you smile! I enjoyed writing it. Expect a card from me sometime soon! I still have to make it, but I've got an idea forming in my head of what I want it to look like. And Jana's right, your hair is beautiful.

you don't know me, but I know the ng tube.

It takes alot more courage to withstand it/the pain/the agony for a time than it does to continue down the path you were going.

It hurts, it's uncomfortable. It will get better. At least now you have a chance to try :)

Jana, believe it or not, I do absolutey NOTHING with my hair. I washed it with shampoo and conditioner from Bath and Bodyworks, then straightened it while it was still wet, and that's it. No gel, no hairspray...nothing. But thanks for all the compliments! Yeah, this really only took me like ten minutes total to accomplish. Praise, I think, goes to my straightener. :)

I am hardcore jealous! Maybe I should shave my head. My hair is just NOT behaving lately.
