:: y a w n ::

I feel like my blog is getting kind of a yawner. Like you know on Saturday mornings when you were a kid and you watched too many re-runs of Saved by the Bell and you almost wish you were out weeding the garden like your mom says you have to do before you go play with friends because you’re getting so bored?

Yeah, that’s kiiiinda what my blog’s doing.

So I'm serious, guys.  What do you want to read about?  Leave your answer in the comments, and majority's wish is my command!  (Seriously guys, throw me a frickin' bone, here.)

-------
a) Another From Behind Bars post
b) Another excerpt from my book
c) I don’t care. This poll bores me just as your blog bores me. Yawnsies.
d) A little more in depth info about the Bwwwiester
e) I don’t care what you write about, as long as you entertain me and use the word “yoink” in the post
f) I’ll read no matter what you write cuz I'm dedicated like that
g) Since I have an ED, making decisions is impossible. I say go with A or C or B.
Or E....?

B! I'd love to read more from your book.

How about parenting? Almost ready to have a baby and kid stories are always funny...but also love any advice!

otta tell you, I had a blog fasination for about a month where I checked out a bunch of peoples blog, just amazed at some peoples creativity and writing styles, of the 3 I found interesting for more than two days and bookmarked (yours, Marine Snow, and dooce.com) the only one I look forward to on a daily basis and actually read is yours. Its not just one specific thing, just the right combination of variables that continually intrigues and peaks my interest. You just seem relatable. Your not all doom and gloom but your not pretending that life is all butterflies and rainbows either. I guess you just seem real. Your writing style is thoughtful, insightful, and humorous. I appreciate you are sensitive to those working through recovery. I dont comment very often but enjoy and feel strongly enough about your blog that I thought you deserve to know how you impact people, considering you are putting in the hard work to keep this gem of a blog alive and I just get to sit back read and enjoy it. So Thanks!! Can we get another excerpt from the book, enjoyed the first one!

I have no idea what the behind bars thing is, but I would go with B. See if you put out enough of that I don't have to buy it!

But I would also like to know how your doing now as well. And thanks for helping with that person, I'm sure she appreciates it.

Oh and I have my own tube now as well! Fortunatly mine just drain's out stuff and if anyone ask's me impolite questions I can squirt them with it!

Hi Brie,

I love reading anything you write. You have such a witty sense of humor and love the honesty! Really I would love to read another Behind Bars, love another excerpt from your fabulous book, love a boob job post, love to read about your views on parenting (liked that idea), and love to read about the awesome Bwwwister! I also really enjoyed the few posts where you talked about your modeling career (but totally understand if you don't wanna go there :)) You could write out the dictionary in Brie tongue and it'd be awesome!

One is leaking! OWE! They just did the breast reduction/skin removal thing on me, I feel for you! Things you never want to hear from a surgeon- "We can move the areola to hear and still preserve blood flow.

Take care of yourself don't let it get infected!

Well.. I hear just about all the randomness that comes out of your mouth anyways.. But you're writing brings me further D-Twin joy.. So...
I'd say B (but I hope that I have get to be privy to a read of that anyway)... I think that the whole world needs more D, cuz you are amazing... F, because it is true. and I do have and ED, so G is automatically true.. LOL..

Your blog is always awesome, and never makes me yawn. You should write about whatever makes you happy to write about. However, since you're letting us give input, I'll vote for both A and B.

Brie, I LOVE yr blog, soooooo not bored, ever! Your writing style is such that I think you could make a story about watching grass grow engaging. However, since you are asking, I absolutely adored the part of your book you shared, and would love to read more. Also, I got hooked on your blog after a friend read me your 'behind bars' series, so another one of those would be pretty cool too. But having said that, I love what you do already so I'll still be reading as long as you are writing - regardless of content :)

I always, always read your posts and have never once walked away without learning something or thinking about something I hadn't thought of before. Your blog is anything but boring my dear. You entertain me, make me smile, bring tears to my eyes, and everything in between. I just like hearing from you, period. So you better keep on going. Love you! xoxo

E and F.

And not just because when you put them together they spell "ef".

ps I have to tell you thanks cause I've honestly always wondered what the inside of a rabbits mouth looks like. I've given rabbits lots of food, but I just listen to them crunching and I watch the food disappear. I've never seen them with their mouth open. It's not as bad as I thought.

Unlike when I watched March of the Penguins. Yeesh. I had nightmares for, like, a month when I saw those fuzzy, furry teeth-like protrusions in a penguins nasty ass mouth.

lisalisa said...

I had to hold my rabbit's mouth open and trim his teeth today, and I did a totally sucktastic job of it!

Cammy said...

By the way, you can tell something's a rabbit, as opposed to any other rodent, by its teeth: it has an extra little set of incisors set behind the big ones, it's pretty neat!

brie said...

cammy, why, pray tell, do they have those extra set of incisors? they're tres creepy!

Girl. said...

another behind bard post, another excerpt from your book, more indepth information on YOU, keep entertaining me and using the word 'yoink', and also, i dont really care coz i am dedicated like that.

:)
whatever you feel like writing is awesome.
the above are just some stuff i would also like to read.

Love
<3

Cammy said...

Since rabbits are grazers in the wild, the extra incisors help with chewing tough grasses, etc: having a double set on the bottom helps with slicing action when they bite down, because the bottom teeth come in between. Of course, in captivity we feed them cute little pellets and other non-sliceable stuff, so they get tooth problems.
