Sisters & the Six Pack

So on Saturday my sisters took a pic of all of us except Jan – she’d already had to leave. Why does she always leave early? So when Tawny announced she wanted a pic of all the sisters I GROANED MOANED PROTESTH MUCH because I have freaking have tubage and did not want that recorded for family posterity (because really I just posted about my mad isolating skills do to the mothereffing tube...). So instead we decided to take profile pics, so I could hide the tube – how kind of them! We ended up having a lot of fun with it and here’s how it turned out – aren’t my sissies beautiful?

Don't Tawny and I look like we're telling our vows to each other to get married?  Creeps!  My arm is oh so tenderly cupping hers.  Holy moly what was I doing?

And then here’s an adorable picture of what we call the six pack. These six boys were all born within a year of each other and are besties and cousins. It was soooo hard to get them all to cooperate, and every time I told Cade to smile, he gave me a look from the tenth circle of hell, so I backed off. Mommy fail. Cade win.

From top row to bottom row: Blake, CAde, Mace, Dax and Trey, (twins) Carson

Anyway, hadn’t posted family pics in a while, so I thought I’d share. Thanks Tawny for the great pics I yoinked off your blog!

LOVE all the argyle!! And I'm so jealous of you and your sweet sisters, though I have to say I was very confused by the "me" and "Brie" writing. I thought, "you're not Brie! IMPOSTER!"

You are all so pretty [including your mama!]. How many siblings do you have total? I often wish I had a sibling.

I have a feeling Cade is going to be a little heart-breaker [but a nice one]. You better keep an eye on him in about 12 years!

I ALWAYS wanted sisters! And a big family. I have one brother and he is awesome, but boy would I have loved to have a ton of siblings! You are all beautiful.

Those boys are adorable. I, too, love the argyle. What a great way to grow up, surrounded by all the love. You are one lucky gal.

So jealous of all your sisters! I have two brothers, but one is much older (half brother) and didn't live with us, so it was just the four of us at home.It must be so much fun to have all those siblings and nieces and nephews!

Sorry, I'm a little slow on the uptake these days - but I wanted to comment on your last post. I have to admit, I was daunted by the length of the excerpt (heehee), but I read it and it was WONDERFUL. I'm also excited to hear that you are planning on going back to school. I know you have wanted that for a while. Keep rockin it out!

PS - I want to thank you so much for your hibernation post a little while ago. You gave me the inspiration for what I needed to write on my blog for my own sanity. I was looking for the words and yo helped me find them. Thank you.

aCTUALLY i am pretty proud of cute daughters and grand daughter! Who would have thought that a profile pic would even be half way cute since it is only half a face but maybe thats why it is cute as the whole face could be just too darn much! However speaking as the Grandmother, I think the six pack are darling. All of them. What a deal lo have six little boys!
