Oh, you know, just out and about procuring the necessities: Boost and MAXI PADS.
Thanks to Whit, who is an ABSOLUTE GEM for insisting on taking this picture of me in my wheelchair - clearly at one of my finest moments. Dignity is overrated, anyway. (sniff)
This is all quite reminiscent of this, yes?

I will buy you some maxi pads next time if you don't want to ride in the old fogie jazzy. :) But let me know if you need anything (even if it's not the necessities...) My sister and I call feminine hygiene items "the goods." As in "Do you have any goods?" That way you can say it in public and not be embarassed. :)
Glad to see you rollin' around! Good pic. ; )
You're still in my thoughts and prayers! I wonder how many maxi pads could soak up a bathtub full of water. I've been plagued with unanswerable questions lately.

Oops. Sorry for the ditto post.

You should host a game of "Boost Pong"
:)
I see you upgraded to a wheelchair with a basket! Good choice :). But I think you need one of those really tall poles with a flourescent orange flag sticking out in back to complete the look!
I'm SO SO glad to see you're up and about. I have a friend who went through a similar hemorrhaging thing and I know it took quite a while for her body to rebuild those red blood cells and to regain her strength. So give yourself lots of time to rest and recuperate. I can't imagine what you have been going through--even though it's been said many times your strength truly is unbelievable and inspiring.
P.S. Were you at an intermountain facility? If so, you may just have been lucky enough to get a bag of blood collected by yours truly! Well, probably not because it's been a while since I last worked at the Red Cross, but it's still neat to see that all that blood sucking really does save lives.
such love. keep up with the boost. you can do it!!!
FABulous!
you're such a brave woman. In awe of your courage, as usual :)
