Just got out of the ER. I had just talked them out of admitting me (I have severe Pneumonia in both lungs) when a steroid they were giving me intravenously, Rocephin, gave me an allergic reaction. I turned LITERALLY as red as a lobster, got hives everywhere, and my lips got big and a little blue and my oxygen went way down. After a few more hours of IV meds to counteract that, they begrudingly let me go home pending I come back immediately if I don't feel well or get worse and I have to stay on bedrest besides doc appts. SO don't want to be in the hospital anymore, the whole time I was there I was crying mostly because I couldn't believe I was back there already.
Well at least I know now why I've wanted to die the past few weeks; felt so sick. Oh and don't worry I'm not contaigous so you don't have to worry about my germies or anything.
That's all, pray for me mkay thanks.
Happy Mother's Day. I've sure had a helluva great one, haha.

Brie, honestly, I think you should have let them admit you. You should be in the hospital right now...
I hate hospitals so I'm glad you don't have to stay - but I just hope that because you are leaving now you won't have to go back soon.
You are in my prayers.
You are in my prayers, Brie. I sincerely hope that you feel better.
Take care. Happy Mother's Day.
love, kristin
Poor girl! I'm glad you are free (for now, at least). Try to rest as much as possible and have Big B take care of you! HOpe things improve soon, you certainly deserve a break!
You are the most likely candidate I know to get something published on FML. You are gold, really. Feel better :(
Oh my god. That reaction must have been so scary. I hope you're doing okay now.
Brie I am so sorry! That really sucks. I hope you get feeling better soon.
O my gosh....I am so sorry too. That reaction sounds scary. Bonkers scary. I know hospitals are no fun but please do go back if it does get worse or anything like that. I really wish you had an o2 sat monitor at home...huggles. I worry about you. I will keep praying and thinking about you. hugs.
I hope you feel better soon. glad you got checked out -- I hope the road to feeling better is a short one. Remember, vitamin C helps everything.

Yikes, that sucks. My best friend has pneumonia too. She's been miserable. Like you, she has lousy lungs...so it scares the heck out of me to hear you guys are so sick. Feel better, honey. *hugs*
Brie-
So sorry you are dealing with your lungs AGAIN?!? I can't believe you have pneumonia, how awful. The only good thing is that I am glad they can treat you and maybe now you can breathe again soon. We have missed you lots lately and are all praying you get better-
sorry you are facing so many trials- hang in there, we all love you-
xoxo Tawny
Oh my gosh! Pneumonia? Doesn't that like kill people with asthma? You are so lucky and blessed to have made it through that...and also are STILL moving through that. I hope you feel better soon. Please go back if you get worse, I hate hospitals too.....but you know your body the best, so let that be your guide.
feel better asap! I had pneumonia in high school, and it wasn't fun!
Hope you feel better soon. It sucks being ill!
