Okay, Well, PEG Tube, Here I Come

I'm scheduled (at this point) for surgery early this week (I'm thinking Tues or Wed) to get the PEG tube placed.

I'm okay with it. I think it's what I need right now.

Glad you have a positive attitude, as corny as that sounds. And now I'm off to Google what a PEG tube is.

It will all be ok. If you ever need to talk let me know. I believe in you, this is the next step to a better and healthier life. You are amazing and don't ever forget that.

I think it is what you need right now too - not because of any lack of effort on your part though. You are amazing Brie - you deserve to be happy and healthy. Love you so much. xoxo

I’ve been completely out of the blog loop lately…so sorry to hear you’ve been going through this crap but I’m way impressed by how you’re handling the whole ordeal. I would guess you probably have plenty of conflicting emotions, but you are brave for doing what you know is best! Hang in there.

Brave Brie. I know you can do this. And I would imagine that it helps so much to know that this is not because of the anorexia, but that this is something else entirely and the feeding tube is what is going to help you repair yourself, to get through this.

Whatever I can do, know that I would want to help. I'm here, you have my number. Lovelove, Z

Everyone else already said it. Good for you for being brave. "I'm proud of you, kid." (Not said in a demeaning way. My brother in law always says this and it weirds me out but it's the only way he knows how to verbally express positive emotions to me, so I'm passing the awkwardness of this phrase on to you.) You can show little Cade that you are willing to do anything you can to be the best mommy ever :) Hopefully the PEG tube will help you kick your...lungs in the ass? I don't know how to even phrase that. I think I need more coffee this morning.

Breeze Babe. I'm so sorry you have to deal with all of this crap in your life. God only knows why!

Although you are willing to do this surgery, doesn't make it any easier-- of less scary. I'm here for you and love you!

Any help you need...know that I am here!
