Unvented Drama & Diaper Bags (A thrilling combo, no?)

So, last night I wrote a post, and had my mouse hovering over the publish button, when I hesitated, asked myself Am I really going to post this? Probably not, and maybe only over my dead (but svelt) body. So I sat back, pondered, and decided against it – for now. I’m afraid it would cause too much drama and potentially come back to bite me in the butt, so I’m going to have to think about it awhile before I decide to post it or not. And if I do, there’s a chance it’ll only be up for a couple hours before I chicken out and decide to take it down again. It’s pretty confrontational and full of me ranting, so I guess I have to decide if I want to dare put myself out there like that. We’ll see I guess. I suppose I need to find a balance between airing my dirty laundry out in public and wearing my heart on my sleeve vs. expressing my feelings appropriately on a forum as public as my blog. So I don’t know. Have some figuring and mulling to do, I guess.

On a happier note, here’s a pic of the new diaper bag I just got in the mail – isn’t it maybe the finest thing you’ve ever seen on God’s green earth? It’s designer, so I paid like an arm and a boob for it, but it’s so worth it! I’m kind of trying to decide if I can use it now. Like, can one use a diaper bag if they have a 4 year old? (As opposed to a 4 MONTH old?) C’mon, the kid might want some cheerios, and who knows maybe he still needs a bib! I don’t know how I’m going to wait until Baby A gets here…it’s so beautiful…

Hope ya’ll have fun weekend plans. My sissy is flying in from Denver for the weekend, so I should have fun with her and my other sistas. We’re going tonight to see the new adaptation of “Jane Eyre,” and I’m excited. I’ve read the book twice, and maybe I’m a hopeless sap, but this particular love story thrills me. A forbidden love, a crazy lady in the attic, a house fire, seething sexual tension; I mean, what more could you want?

Have fun! Stay safe!  Use protection!  Ruv roo.
(Two posts in less than 24 hours? Is the old Blogging Brie returning?)
PS - A Vegas/cruise vacation post is coming anon!

Also that's a really sensible way of thinking about your blog, I hope you can find peace with the rant post!

I am kinda a lurker but had to come out and say that diaper bag is awesome :) So cute! I wonder if I could get by with carrying it if my kids are 9 and 7 lol.

Avery is on my baby name list ;)
And given my middle name is Jane (after my grandma) I have been thinking about that name!
I am not even pregnant (or close :p)

As for the posting..
I get that way.
I am more that way now as I want to work as a therapist and I am scared it will come back and haunt me so I am more careful.

Either way dolly, what ever is holding you back, I cannot say, but I would say post.
You are you, and you are entitled to how you feel, but also, what ever you feel (if we want to say right or wrong) it is you.
Those who love you and care, will not judge you xxxxx

Hey girly, sorry you've got some drama going on. I'd say let it out and you'll probably be surprised at how much support you'll get, but I understand being hesitant. I second guess myself all the time for posting things that really aren't even all that important or risky. Anyway, cute cute diaper bag, you are one rockin mom. Take care! <3

Post it- you'll probably feel better. Besides, it's your blog, if people don't like it, they don't have to read, you know? Bag is super cute but I think you should definitely save it for Miss Avery's arrival, just because. :P

It was a fun weekend! I am a little disappointed that there were no vampires though in Jane Eyre. Maybe I should try the book!

That is one of the cutest diaper bags I have ever seen. Honest. Use it now, having that on your arm will help you stay excited and happy! Or just display it prominently in your house where you'll see it often! Hugs your way :)

Oh my goodness that diaper bag is to DIE for!!! I don't know about you, but buying cute things for baby girl was what got me through the aches, pains, and hormonal moments of pregnancy (not sure my hubby was so thrilled with my coping "skill" but I loved it!).
