I am so, so thrilled to announce that I am pregnant! Brandon and I have been trying for nearly a year with no success, and were actually getting ready to see a doc for infertility treatments, and, in just the nick of time, we got a miracle several weeks ago via a positive pregnancy test.
I am SICK. All I do is barf and sleep and then wake up to feel sick again and then wish I could somehow sleep through this first trimester. I am NOT complaining, but girlfriend over here forgot how taxing the first trimester truly is!
I went in for my first OB appt today, and all looked well. I am 9 weeks along, and here's a picture of my perfect little jellybean. He/she/it looked perfect and healthy and strong and had an excellent heart rate of 184.

Big B and Lil C are very thrilled about our pending new arrival as well. :) Big B rubs and kisses my tummy every day, and Lil C is very excited for his new brother or sister, and is impatient that it can't just come out already. Also, the other day he asked me if the baby was going to come out of my mouth, and I said YES, as I'm so not ready to have a vagina conversation with my 4 year old. I mean seriously.
Hope you'll all join me in being as thrilled about this is as I am. :D

Bananas, the estimated due date is August 9th. I'm pretty positive that I'll have the baby earlier though, whether that be via induction or naturally. I'm thinking more around the very beginning of August...

CONGRATS!!! I know this is weird, but several weeks ago I had a dream that you and I and another friend of mine that lost a baby were all pregnant... then you posted something on facebook about craving something and then buying new underwear and so that's why I had D ask B about it at work. Then I got all worried I offended you. I was like all crap she is gunna think that I think she is fat- which is not at all true- just my strange dream and assumptions.
Soooo anyway that is so freaking awesome and I hope everything goes perfect for you guys. You totally deserve it! I ended up renting a fetal heart monitor from belly beats so that I would be less paranoid about if the baby was doing ok. It has relieved much of my anxiety.
Also a good thing about the new work insurance is that with the baby you will likely hit you OPM and then if therapy is covered under the same deductible then it will be 100% covered- but don't take my word on that. I'm still checking into it.

After having 3 losses I totally get the being scarred out of your wits. Just remember there's not a whole lot you can do to cause a miscarriage or stillbirth. The fact that your baby has a strong heartbeat and you've given birth to a healthy and adorable little boy already make the odds in your favor. Tons of prayers and good vibes coming your way.
